As an environmental consultant I worked for many years in the Americas. On the Navajo, Pueblo and Salish reservations in the US I discovered their beliefs in sacred entities and healing ceremonies. Their art has greatly influenced my carvings. My work in SA found me in the agricultural fields in Ecuador, Colombia, Honduras and Chile. The Andean spirituality beliefs have reinforced the influence of the sacred entities, most notable the condor. The divine spirits of the kami, from Shintoism, has strengthened and supports my beliefs in the influence and protection of kami on our human life. Over the years, my work also took me to Japan, eastern and western bloc countries – all the while helping businesses and governments meet the demands of regulations and environmental stewardship. POINT BEING – I have done a lot of traveling, made it through a lot of uncertain situations and continue to do so – safe travels is my belief in my green beads, more talismans and prayer feathers then I care to count and a true belief in their symbolic and traditional values – and always wear a travel vest.

Lately Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands have become my main stay and the power of myth continues to prove true with every adventure.
